I agree with Dave that we should probably consider going with the "Saver" option on the Eurail packages, which allows two or more people who are traveling together to ride first class at a discounted rate. Eurail Selectpass
Allows unlimited travel through 3, 4, or 5 bordering countries in the 17 nation Eurail network. These passes can be purchased with 5, 6, 8, 10, and 15 travel days which, like the flexi pass, do not have to be consecutive but have to be used within a 2 month period.
